Nelson worked over 15 years as an independent partner for Aubrey K. McClendon on his land acquisition efforts during his tenure at Chesapeake and American Energy Partners
- Most recently, Nelson acquired all acreage for Haynesville Energy Company and minerals in the Utica and Marcellus for American Energy – Minerals

Prior to co-founding Lynx, Nelson served as Founder of OKKI Industries, a mineral and royalty acquisition company with assets spanning 10+ states across the U.S.
He also served as Founder of Blue Ribbon Energy Group, a land services company and brokerage
Nelson earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Centenary College of Louisiana

Prior to co-founding Lynx, Raj served as a Director in the Finance and Sub-surface groups at American Energy Partners
- There, he was involved in more than $3 billion of upstream capital raises, investments and A&D in the Permian Basin, Utica Shale, Oklahoma, Australia, Argentina’s Vaca Muerta Shale and Mexico.
He also worked as an investment banker at Citigroup in their Houston-based Global Energy Group where he was involved in more than $3 billion of upstream capital raises, IPOs and M&A deals.
Raj earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Honors and Finance from the University of Texas at Austin

Matthew has over 18 years of experience in oil and gas operations
Prior to joining Lynx, Matt served as Vice President of Resource Development at American Energy Partners
Matthew served as Senior Asset Manager - Operations at Chesapeake Energy, managing operations and development in the Powder River Basin with 12 operated rigs
Matthew also worked in the Strategy & Planning team at Hess and at Halliburton in field operations
Matthew earned a MBA from Columbia University and a BS in Petroleum & Natural Gas Engineering from West Virginia University

Prior to joining Lynx, Al was an independent consulting geologist after his retirement from Chesapeake as a Senior Geologist.
Prior to that, he was a Senior Geologist at HS Resources, Slawson Exploration, Gulf Oil Corporation, Columbia Gas Corporation, and Shell Oil
Al has 46 years of experience with 40 years focused on Anadarko Basin
- He has drilled over 1,000 wells (operated and non-op) primarily focused in Grady, Caddo, Custer, and Roger Mills county in Oklahoma’s Anadarko Basin
Al received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Geology from Iowa State University and a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Iowa
